In support of the Agency's mission, the CDC Assistant will serve as a multi-classroom floating teacher. Working in partnership with assigned classroom staff, the CDC Assistant will engage in nurturing relationships with children, planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate learning environment with meaningful experiences that prepares them for successful transition to kindergarten. The CDC Assistant will also work in collaboration with staff to promote family engagement and partnerships in the children's learning. In addition, the CDC Assistant will provide light administrative support to the assigned Child Development Center. Responsibilities include compliance with federal and state Head Start Performance Standards, Agency/Head Start Policies and Procedures, and Oregon Childcare Division regulations.
