Compensation: $22.66-28.26/hour- Depending on education level, (plus .50 if Bilingual Spanish/English), Union represented Hours: Regular full-time 40 hours/week, subject to normal school year furloughs (furloughs are approximately a total of 6 weeks per year) The purpose of Early Head Start home-based program is to encourage and support parents as their child’s primary teacher and nurturer. This position will provide early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to eligible pregnant women, infants, and toddlers to promote secure parent-child relationships and help parents provide high-quality early learning experiences. The EHS Home Educator will design, plan, and carry out developmentally age-appropriate educational activities during a 90-minute weekly home visit for each family, and two group socializations per month.
