EARLY HEAD START HOME VISITOR SUPERVISOR Family Building Blocks in Salem, OR is seeking to hire an English/Spanish bilingual Early Head Start (EHS) Home Visitor Supervisor. You would typically work Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Earn a competitive starting pay of $3,631-$3967 monthly depending on experience. The rate will include an additional English/Spanish bilingual language differential pay for employees that qualify. DUTIES Provide individual weekly supervision to Home Visitors, Supervision includes ongoing support and reflection, performance monitoring and professional development to assure completion of supervisee job duties in accordance with standards and guidelines. Monitor and provide ongoing support to ensure high quality parent-child socializations (playgroups) and strong engagement of parents in this service. Collaborate with program parents, staff and community providers to assess family strengths, identify family goals, and ensure access, coordination and implementation of needed services and resources for families that promote the goals of the Head Start Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework and Family Building Blocks. Participate in ongoing monitoring and reporting activities with Home Visiting Manager. Work collaboratively with the data team and Family Building Blocks Supervisor Team to identify staff training needs, monitor and support the use of evidence-based curriculum, and provide trainings as appropriate. Maintain ongoing strong communication with all team members. Review family situations to ensure that any case which may involve "imminent harm," "threatened harm," abuse or neglect is referred to Child Welfare Services according to agency protocols. Participate in program and agency events, meetings and trainings as assigned. Model behaviors that demonstrate an understanding, acceptance and welcoming of diversity. Maintain respectful and positive communication regarding all children and families. Engage and support volunteers as an integral part of program services. Participate in FBB program events, meetings and trainings as assigned. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in social work, human development, early childhood education or other related field, or equivalent experience. Previous experience as a home visitor working with parents, infants and toddlers in a social service setting, preferably an Early Head Start program. Related experience preferably in areas of supervision, mentoring and coaching.
