ob Summary and Responsibilities/Duties This position: Is eligible for a 5% bilingual differential for bilingual skills in a language that meets department and/or community needs Ensures Child Development and Family Support Program’s (CDFS) operations take place in a timely manner and provide customer support to the community. Assists staff members with a wide variety of administrative support functions, including project management and clerical duties. Ensures compliance with federal, state and program regulations. Works under limited supervision. This position works a 0.94231 FTE. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Position Specific Duties Answers multi-line phone system, and directs customers to the most appropriate personnel or service. Greets and assists program families and visitors. Processes applications with applicants for Head Start and Early Head Start programs verifying that supporting documents meet Head Start Performance Standards, and federal, state and local regulations. Completes routine office job requests such as copying, scanning, collating and mailings. Routes incoming and outgoing mail to appropriate personnel and places. Tracks inventory of office supplies to maintain adequate levels. Order supplies and materials for the main office and other head start sites as requested. Maintains programs’ policies procedures, and forms on the electronic storage system and printed copies, keeping standard formatting and making requested updates as needed. Creates flyers, letters, bulletins and other documents as needed or when requested. Assists management with miscellaneous project requests.
