Family Building Blocks in Salem, OR is seeking to hire a Mental Health Clinician / Therapist who speaks both English and Spanish. You would typically work Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. As a Mental Health Clinician / Therapist, you will earn a competitive starting salary of $58,000/year + DOE plus bilingual differential pay for English/Spanish bilingual employees. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILINGUAL MENTAL HEALTH CLINICIAN / THERAPIST Your education in counseling, marriage and family therapy (MFT), social work, or psychology coupled with your patient demeanor assists you in providing unparalleled therapy for our clients. You provide individualized, family-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based mental health services that focus on the strengths of children, parents, and families served. You meet one-on-one with clients and are sure to establish strong, trusting relationships. By conducting screenings and assessments, you are able to identify children and families who need additional target interventions early. As you diagnose and treat them, you provide support to develop and promote healthy attachment and bonding, overcome trauma, and attain/support appropriate developmental milestones. You also serve as a resource for other Family Building Blocks programs. QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, psychology, or a closely related field Must meet State of Oregon Administrative Rule requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and possess, or work toward, MHACBO certification as a QMHP-C unless already pursuing licensure through another counseling/social work profession's board At least 6 months of experience conducting assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning acquired through internship or employment Bilingual English/Spanish Ability to pass a background check and drug test Are you passionate about improving the lives of others through therapy?
