Position Purpose The Mental Health Consultant is responsible for providing mental health consultation and support to Head Start and Early Head Start staff, children and families. The Mental Health Consultant will perform a wide range of services including mental health observations and review, coaching and training of staff as requested, screening assessment and assistance with referrals for families to additional services. The Mental Health Consultant will collect data and maintain records to support compliance with all Head Start Program Performance Standards and other federal and state regulations.
